Antique American White Oak
Centuries ago, much of this wood was originally harvested from dark old growth forest where it grew slowly, producing a tight dense grain structure. Often for 80 - 250 years in beams, floors or sidings, this wood reveals an abundant presence of worm-, beetle- and nailholes, but also knots, cracks and beautiful aging patina.
